What is Google Ad Grants?

Google Ad Grants is a program that allows nonprofit organizations to use online ads at no cost. If your NGO qualifies for the program you will get $10.000/month to promote your cause on the first page of Google search results.

How to Get $10.000/month?

In order to get $10.000 to promote your cause your NGO will have to qualify for the program. This means you need to hold a valid charity status, agree to Google’s requirements and have an NGO website with plenty of content.


You will receive $10.000 USD in in-kind Adwords Advertising. So you won’t be able to withdraw the money from the account. The money can only be used for AdWords Search Campaigns. This means you can create text ads that will appear only on Google search results pages.

What is Google AdWords?

Google AdWords helps you display text ads on the search page through which you can send users directly to your NGO website.

A Google AdWords campaign is a pay-per-click campaign which enables you to be on the first page of Google’s search results and to promote your cause in order to gain more donations. “Pay-per-click” means that you only pay when someone clicks your ad.

With a $2 cost per click and a $10.000 budget from the AdGrants program you can make 5.000 people to visit your site.
